Auto Restoration

Call Tumbleweed Services before starting your next restoration project. How can you give an accurate estimate of a restoration until all of the paint is gone? Rust can be lurking under good looking paint. It may come back to destroy your new paint job. Use "Super K" to strip the old paint and start fresh. It makes sense to protect your investment.

You do not have to citric wash the residue off after Super K, because it leaves no residue and is environmentally friendly.

Smoke & Fire Restoration

Removing smoke, soot and char from buildings is a slow and expensive process. After scraping and scrubbing a seal is needed to help control the odor... just in case some was missed. Tumbleweed Services will blast your project clean to restore the original materials fast and efficiently. In most cases there is no need to seal. And, the baking soda absorbs that nasty odor.

Cleaning Industrial Materials With Ease

The removal of corrosion and scale from commercial and industrial applications can be time consuming and expensive.

Difficulties can be location of the equipment, and the material the corrosion is affecting.

A cooling tower that is corroded and dirty causes over-heating problems.

Before cleaning, the cooler could be running 24 hours per/day at a dangerously high temperature. After successful cleaning of the cooler it can be put back into full operation and production. The renewed cooler should now running only 6 hours per/day with a decrease in operating temperature of over 40 degrees.

Tumbleweed Services would utilized its proven " Coatings Removal System " for such a cleaning project. Since it is non-abrasive the media chosen was sodium bicarbonate . The delicate aluminum fins can be cleaned and restored with no bending or warping.

Graffiti Removal

Conventional methods of graffiti removal such as re-painting and applying chemical solvents can prove challenging and expensive. Soda blasting provides a simple, yet effective graffiti removal alternative to these methods.

Tumbleweed Services' soda blasting products are a non-abrasive, environmentally friendly and economical way to remove graffiti. Our soda blast media is safe to use on surfaces such as brick, stone, concrete and other sensitive surfaces.

Jan-Feb 2010 Project

I am currently working on a custom welding bed for a F450 which includes many new features:

1. Rolling slide frame for the welding machine which will allow the welder to slide the machine off the side of the bed for servicing and repair.

2. Removable lead racks which allow the welder to lightly wrap his leads on the side of the machine during the work day and then store in the lead wells after work.

3. In-bed umbrella holders

4. Rear wrap around tool box which uses every available space inside the rear of the truck bed for storage.

5. Tool boxes in the headache rack.
